 eBonding for Telecommunication                                                       Service Provider and Customer.

eBonding for Telecommunications application helps you integrate your ServiceNow instance with the ServiceNow instances of your enterprise customers to synchronously receive and fulfil service requests and create and publish catalogs of services for customers to access.

Benefits of eBonding for Telco:

Ø  Creation of service product offerings for customers to easily access

Ø  Integration of a service provider's ServiceNow instance and their enterprise customer's instance

Ø  Data synchronization

o   Sync data between the service provider and customer instance using IDR (Instance Data Replication) for quick request fulfilment.

Ø  Efficient request fulfilment

o   Synchronously receive and fulfil service requests from your instance of ServiceNow that were generated from the ServiceNow instance of your enterprise customers.

 

There are two applications within eBonding for Telecommunications: 

Ø  eBonding for Telecommunications Service Providers and 

Ø  eBonding for Telecommunications Customers.

eBonding for Telecommunications Service Providers:

Ø  Author and publish catalogs of services for use by your enterprise customers on their own ServiceNow instance.

Ø  Rapidly establish integration between your ServiceNow instance and the ServiceNow instance of your enterprise customer

Ø  Receive and fulfil service requests on your own ServiceNow instance that are generated from your enterprise customer's ServiceNow instance.

eBonding for Telecommunications Customers.

Ø  Use your IT Service Catalogs to submit service requests to your CSP from your own ServiceNow instance.

Ø  Monitor the status of your service requests from your ServiceNow instance

 

 

 

 

 

 

Configurations:

Service Provider end configuration

1.      Create Account


 

 

2.      Create Sold Product for the product you want to provide service for and map it with the account you created above.


 

3.      Create Setup Provider: Scope should be global


4.      Create Replication Set: Scope should be global


5.      Activate Replication Set:

a.      Navigate


b.      After Activating replication set your record should look like below


 

 

 

 

6.      Come back to Setup Provider, now record should look like below:


7.      Create an application. Scope should be global.

a.      Click new in related list.


 


b.      Right Click on header and save it.


c.      Click on “Create Application” button


d.      Custom application field should auto populate.


8.      Create Service Definition.

a.      Click New in related list.


b.      Fill the form.

                                                              i.      Choose name which define your service.

                                                            ii.      Products: For which you have created sold product in starting

                                                          iii.      eBonding Application: Auto populated


c.      Right click on header and save the record: Create Service button appears.


d.      Click on “Create Service” button: Record producer will be auto populated with same name as Service definition


e.      Click on record producer icon and open the record.



f.       Change the scope to: Demo Application (Application you have created in starting)

g.      Create variable by clicking new in related list. (Create as per requirement)



h.      Once you create variable publish button will appear on record producer form; publish it. And make sure record producer become active.



9.      Change the scope to global and open newly created service definition.


10. Select flow: You can create your own subflow or use OOB subflow.

a.      Create own subflow.

 

 


 

b.      Choose OOB subflow: and save the record.


11. Register eBonding: Go to service portal and search for “eBonding registration” record producer.

a.      Find Cat item or click on below link.

b.      Open “eBonding Registration” catalog item.


c.      Fill the form.

                                                              i.      Account: Choose the one you have created in starting

                                                            ii.      Contact: Choose one which has company as account (See reference qualifier)

                                                          iii.      Customer Instance URL: provider customer instance URL

                                                          iv.      Customer Instance ID: See in customer instance properties (instance_id)


d.      Submit registration: a case will automatically be created with all the details require to configure at customer side.


12. Publish your application.

a.      You can publish the app to ServiceNow store so customer can download and install it.

b.      You can import and export the app in customer instance.

c.      You can push the application to update set and move to customer instance.

13. Select your application in application picker and click on the icon left to it.


14. Click on “publish to update set” in related link.


15. Move the update to customer instance.


 

Customer end configuration

 

16. Navigate to service provider.


a.      Fill the form.

                                                              i.      Vendor: Choose a vendor

                                                            ii.      Customer ID: Provide customer Id from the case which got created in Service provider instance.

                                                          iii.      Connection: Search and create new with the details from case.


17.Create replication set by clicking on the button.

18.Approval will be sent to service provider

a.     Go to service provider instance and approve it

19.Activate replication set in customer instance.


20.Service provider record should look like below
